Facebook & WhatsApp Groups For Traveling South America
If you're planning to travel to South America and don't have WhatsApp downloaded already, it's an absolute must before you travel.
One of the things we've found most helpful while being in South America is the us of WhatsApp.
There are a handful of WhatsApp groups run by travelers where you can find up to date information, reviews, things for sale and help from folks on the ground or who recently visited where you want to go.
These groups have been SUPER helpful for us so here's a list of the WhatsApp and Facebook Groups in South America.
WhatsApp Traveler Groups
Tip: After joining groups Click the group name, go to Mute, Always. These groups can have A LOT of notifications at all hours of the day and none of them are urgent. By muting the group you can look at it on your own time.
